Unbroken (2014) is a biographical war drama directed by Angelina Jolie that tells the true story of Louis Zamperini. It follows his journey from a troubled youth to a 1936 Olympic runner, then a WWII bombardier who survives 47 days on a raft, only to endure brutal captivity as a POW in Japan.
